l love headbands, but I absolutely ✨HATE✨ all of the headbands that are in the stores... So I made my own. 😁
I LOVE patchwork and looked EVERYWHERE for a patchwork headband only to discover that it didn’t exist. (What I found was fabric printed to look like it was patchwork 👀👀👀) That just certainly would not do, so I got to cutting and sewing and WALLA!!! The boho quilted headband was born.
the patchwork is 100% cotton fabric that I’ve cut and sewn myself, and the backing of the band is white brushed jersey knit fabric. Jersey fabric also covers the elastic gathered at the back of the headband to keep the ears from getting pinched. I picked jersey fabric so it wouldn’t pull and ruffle your hair. The soft fabric does a good job of staying put without causing pinching and creasing. 🫶🏻
